Danielle James, DVM

[email protected]Dr. Danielle James, the practice owner, is just one of 250 Board-Certified Veterinary Dermatologists in North America. She graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation, she worked as a general practitioner in a small veterinary practice in Gainesville, Florida. In 2007, Dr. James started her residency at the prestigious Animal Dermatology Clinic in San Diego under the mentorship of Dr. Craig Griffin and achieved board certification in Veterinary Dermatology in 2010. Dr. James moved back to her native city of Miami in 2011, and prior to opening her own practice, she served as the dermatologist at several Banfield Pet Hospitals throughout South Florida. Dr. James participated as an investigator in a clinical trial of a new allergy medication, and served as a mentor to dermatology residents and senior veterinary students from Western University Veterinary School. In October of 2013, she founded Pet Dermatology of South Florida and opened offices in Kendall and Coral Springs. At this time, Dr. James lectures to local veterinary practitioners for continuing education, and is the Chairperson of the Credentials Committee for the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD).

[email protected]Frank attended Florida International University and graduated in 2013, attaining a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. He has dedicated the last 10 years to working with both exotic and domestic animals. He hopes to further his experience under the guidance of Dr. James and ultimately achieve his dream of going to veterinary school in the future.
Meagan Baroniel
Veterinary Technician
Meagan has worked as a veterinary technician/assistant for the last three years. She has a passion for animals and for helping their owners with their care and treatments. Meagan graduated from Florida International University in 2018 and is currently working on taking her last few classes before applying to veterinary school. Meagan has three dogs at home: Daisy, Molly, Lily.
